After last year’s great success we proudly present you the IAAS Training Month 2021!
What is the IAAS Training Month?
The IAAS Training Month was created with the idea to provide support but as well offer a chance for personal growth and skill development during these challenging times. Therefore we have designed an 3 week online event compiled of 20+ (soft skill) training sessions on diverse topics varying from Mental Health & Personal Development to Teamwork, Communication and Leadership in order for you and your teams to benefit.
We especially encourage you as leaders of our association to participate and upgrade your knowledge and skill for the benefit of your teams and our IAAS. *What is the IAAS Training Committee (ITC)?*
The IAAS Training Committee is an independent Committee of IAAS World which shall consist of IAAS members and alumni with
certification in delivering primarily soft skills trainings. The ITC is responsible for personal and organizational development of IAAS members with the vision to empower and inspire IAAS members around the world. You are interested in becoming part of the committee – we are looking for a person taking care of social media. Feel free to contact us at trainings@iaasworld.org.
*What are trainings?*
Training is an event of varying duration in real life or online settings, where learning can take place. Volunteer and corporate work trainings are held to improve members’/employees’ skills. A Soft Skill training session based on non-formal education will include a mixture of discussions, theoretical input and hand-on application through exercises and simulation. The training sessions are designed as interactive learning experience for our participants. Trainings by ITC is not related to sportive activities.
*What are Soft Skills?*
Soft skills are a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, character or personality traits, attitudes, career attributes, social intelligence and emotional intelligence quotients, among others, that enable people to navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals with complementing hard skills. What are the technical requirements to participate in a training session?
The workshop will be held over zoom (zoom.us) and will use online facilitation software (mural.co). Please make sure to be somewhere where you can have a stable internet connection (at least 2 Mbps (up&down) for video use during the session. We highly encourage the use of video for better participation in the session. Functioning microphone and willingness to actively is an requirement to participate.
For smooth participation we do NOT recommend attending the sessions from mobile phones. Participants will receive access link to the zoom session at least 24 hours before the training .
