IAAS Executive Board (EB) is very pleased to launch this call for proposals to all of our Local and National Committees for IAAS projects for our new program: the IAAS Global Project Competition. As the world is in the recovery phase of an immense crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is our duty to make sure that IAAS members can be empowered to bring sustainable changes to our world.
In this competition, we are looking for projects that positively impact our world and contribute to the financial sustainability of our committees and communities. Why not have a real impact on the world and, at the same time, earn money to bring IAAS further? Participating in this contest will greatly benefit the skills you need as a farmer, researcher or business leader. We, therefore, invite everyone to participate and think of new ideas linked to the agricultural and related sciences.
Empower your members and show to the world how much impact your committee(s) can make through your projects! The prizes have never been so high, so let’s make an impact as an association and show what we are capable of!
The 3 best projects will receive a prize from us: real money to invest in your project! These are the three prizes to win, sponsored by our partner Bayer:
1. The Bayer’s Next Gen prize €1500 -overall winner
2. The sustainability prize €700 -most sustainable project
3. The Woman in Agriculture prize €700 -project that empowers women in agriculture the most
The EB & CB will decide on the winning projects on the basis of the submission in this form. We will use a rubric for this, which can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/GPCRubic
Besides, there will be an opportunity for you all to sit to decide on the winners. Everyone is invited to vote on all submitted projects during the Exhibition Event on Friday the 3rd of June for a chance to win one of the three additional “member’s choice” prizes of 3x €200. Please prepare a presentation and indicate if you want to present during this event.

Exhibition and winner announcement: Friday 3rd of June 2022 at 4 PM GMT+2
The Executive Board will host a live Q&A session where we will answer all your questions on Thursday the 19th of May at 2 PM GMT+2 via an Instagram Live on our Instagram @iaas.world
